I Saw A Hummingbird Amongst Snowflakes

May 12, 2013

I saw a hummingbird amongst snowflakes
Shattering life, no respite
Falling into spring cold and shivering
Hovering over brave blooms
As you come to make a summer home
In this land that has no way
To warm and comfort
On this cold spring day.

Fly south I’d say, then wait a day
Before braving storms to come back
To the land you can call
A summer home once more
Yes, I saw a hummingbird
Amongst snowflakes just today.

Charged With Energy

May 9, 2013

Charged with energy
Moving making way
Bowing to an entity
I did not hear or say
Answering questions
I never did not ask
Frightened
With fervor on my face
That which I cannot mask.

Green Leaves Are What I See

May 8, 2013

Tree Tops ~ photo by Patrice

Green leaves are what I see
Close by and far into eternity
Unfurling glorious green
Sometimes mixed with purple
Red or hunter green
Just to show magnificence
In the outlined sky supreme.

Glad to see leaves unfolding
Bringing life to silent trees
I’m sure all is okay today
And each and every other day
That leaves absorb sunshine
Blowing in the wind
Growing life there within.

Anger, Frustration, Chaos A Maze

May 6, 2013

Travel thru time ~ photo by Patrice

Anger, frustration, chaos a maze
Struggling not to enslave
Power is paramount in this I crave
Out of the hill I find myself
Climbing so dazed.

Leave me be strong and right
In the thinking I need tonight
Figure a way out of this maze
See the opening you need
And you crave.

Make the right way happen
In front of my face
See the steps taken will lead the right way
Wisdom is crucial in this that I do
Be patient and wait for
The right answer too.

Fill you with glory, magnificent frame
See ugly wither and most likely drain
Straight down the hell hole where
To reside
And in all fairness probably find
Happiness there to hide.

Sweet, sweet refrain abide with me now
Lift up my spirits please show me how
Live in a world I have no power to change
Choose the right road down which
I can retain
All calmness and beauty whatever the game.

Travel Thru Life

May 3, 2013

Travel thru Life ~ photo by Patrice

Travel thru life
In a rushing way
Enjoy
Move on
Never stop to employ
Harshness or the madness
Of decay.

Laugh
Cry
Don’t deny
The wonder all around.

Travel at a warp speed
Teeth clenched
And
Eyes about to sneeze
Spreading a happy time
Enough to last a lifetime
For you
And
For me.

Sunset Rests And Meditates

May 1, 2013

Summer Flowers ~ photo by Patrice

Sunset rests and meditates
Sees life in all its states
Smiling sweetly, caressing care
This is needed, we must share.

Love of life not destitute
Living on the edge of gratitude
You are mine and I don’t care
To hold the reins of any old despair.

Travel thru bright, clear day
See the sunset rise
Filling hearts far into
Lovely evening tide.
