You don’t know what I know
You don’t feel what I feel
You don’t see what I see
You can’t hear what I hear
Because
You are not and never will be me.

Dear Lord, my God
Let me be
Part of a world that is happy.
Dear Lord, my God
Let me see
Things of beauty in all I perceive.
Dear Lord, my God
Let me hear
The words of my soul
Let them guide me where I need to go.
Dear Lord, my God
Let me feel
The spirit that lives inside of me.
Dear Lord, my God
My Spirit, my Soul
I need your guidance
Your knowledge, your company
Here by me, where’re I go.

Feel myself spiralling down
Feel the sadness all around.
Morose behaviour I have found
Doesn’t let me feel a better way
Just seems I am bound
To trudge alone, spiralling down.
But maybe
Come to terms with who I am
No more sacrifice
Know the person that I know
I know I am.

Deep in a wretched chasm of despair
Struggling, struggling to get out
Out of there
Fallen down a well of no repair
Intimidating, dark down there.
Feel the walls
Feel their strength
They’ll help you climb back up
Into a life of freedom
Happiness, no despair.
Don’t dwell way down
Way down there
In that chasm, that well
Filled with hell
Way down there.
Bring yourself up, out
Feel the rays spreading out
Warming, bringing joy
Happiness all about
No pain.
No heartache there about
As we bask in the warmth
Of the sun, knowing
We’ll never fall back down
into that dark chasm
We’ll never, ever fall
ever at all.

Feel the memories
Sing their song.

Smile and laugh.
See the world as a beautiful place to be.
See joy and beauty.
Caress the love you feel and that envelops your soul.

To cry is human.
It shows you care.
To laugh is human.
It shows you have joy.
To anger is human.
It shows you feel.
To remember is human.
It shows you have been.
To die is human.
It shows you have lived.
