You wait and hope
My heart will open
And let you
Back in.
I cannot see how
It will ever be
So much has passed
So much
I can’t let go.
My heart was open
Once to only you
You trudged across
Careless cold.
Now you must
Wait and hope
That is what
You can do.

The light comes thru
Just a crack
Lighting all that has been
Black
Giving hope, strength
On it’s lighting way.
The more you see
The more it spreads
Bringing salvation to those
That had no destiny
Only dread.
Just one spark of light
Can spread and fill
The dark of night full of
Happiness
And most of all
Delight.

I have been this place before
I have stood upon the shore
Of destitution.
I have seen my heart soar
Into skys forever more
Cradled in the reality
Of hope.
I have been this place before
Weep not, weep not
For this has been my life
Throughout the toil
Joy and strife.
I have been this place before
And will remain here
For evermore.
Come join me
We will dance a jig
I have been this place before.

Fold the cards
Shuffle the deck
Hope for an outcome
That will be best
For what you need.
No one is whole
Everyone is strong
Just one amongst the throng
Of worldly beings trying
Here on earth
Not to be wrong.
