Feels good
This membership in a club
Called love.
Keeps me serene
Surrounded
By a lasting theme.
Grateful
Know it needs to be
To keep me in my sanity.
Genuine
Nothing speaks better truth
Better than anything
Anything else.
Please
Keep me humble
In the midst
Of all your loving care.
Feels good.

Never in November
Never again
Never remember
Those awful times when.
Put ’em in a closet
Shut the door
And stay away.
Cause
Never in November
Is just another day.

Looking in the mirror
To see a reflection
Of my life
Looking back at me.
I must smile, laugh
For, forever she will stay
In my life
In a quiet, supportive way.

Here in my life I have a purpose.
As do we all.
Mine is to make art beautiful.
To fulfill me, make my soul glow. To love, cherish, embrace the intangible
and make it real, touchable, to caress, to feel in your heart.
A living art created within my mind and expressed by my hand.
This is my purpose in this, this life of mine.

Think the thoughts
That are beautiful
Think the ones that need to be
While treasuring times past
Dwelling in your memory.

Seriously laughing, ridiculously crying
Moving thru the atmosphere.
There is no denying this is where
I have no fear. ~ Patrice

Dark and foreboding
The light does not shine
Muddy tracks are erased
In the water running past.
Grasp the heartbeat make it last
Not lost in the dismal, tragic past
For we are here and must trust
It will, forever last.
