Bittersweet moment, bittersweet day
All alone in quelling the fray.

Nothing to do, nothing to say
Just reality facing us, bringing to bay
Hard facts on this what must
Be made into a joyous day.

Surge yourself up, stand proud and see
All you’ve accomplished in spite of thee.
