Robbie Burns Day it is
Go back in time
And listen to what is.

A gifted poet
A man of great stature
One of a kind that
We should look to
With great rapture.

I am in awe
Nothing would stop me
From hoping
That he would come
And guide my hand.

In this writing
Feeling
As I try to expand words
That come to mind
Here and now
