The quarry is dead!
No more dread
It is dead.
No black hole down
To the depths of coal
Down pass where water flows.
The quarry is dead I said
The fight was won
They’ve taken their greed
Moving on.
No more dread
But instead a land lovely
To be farmed for an eternity
We hope it to be.
The quarry is dead!
No more dread
Let us rejoice
Rejoice instead
The quarry is dead.
