This Is A Time When Sadness Is Ashamed

This is a time
When sadness is ashamed
We did not fulfill
All the promises that needed be.

Nothing has gotten done
Nothing, empty, hollow
Reaches out begins to swallow
All my heart wants for tomorrow.

Nothing left, just empty sadness
Weighing heavy on my chest.
