Did You See Me

Did you see me coming down the lane?
Did you hear me crying, crying your name?
I have lost you in the mist of time
Forgotten what has been
And what was part of mine.

Then I hear you softly call my name
Feel your arms around me once again
Trust the world will still be pleased
Even thou you no longer step
Along this path with me.
