Today
Is a day unlike any other day
Filled with life
Filled with strife
And too, things nice.

Must make it my day
Do it my way
And at the end, at the night
I’ll look, see what a wondrous day
Was given to me.

Then I can peacefully sleep
In anticipation of what
The day
The next day
Will bring to me.
