Once upon a time
I dreamed
Dreamed you were mine.

This was a time
When all was perfect
And sublime.

Yes, you were mine
When I dreamed of a
Oh so perfect time.

No bittersweet goodbyes
Only loving, happy times
When you were mine
In a perfect time.

It was a time
The sun shone down on us
Filling all with a radiant glow
Of tender love
Sweet tender love.

I dreamed a dream
Once upon a time
When you
You were mine.
