Looking out my window
Seeing life displayed
Playing out sometimes
In misery
Sometimes in loving grace
I can see no happy feeling
Accompanies
A penitent, sad face
But all is as it should be
All live life
trying not to scar
Or leave a marring footprint
A telling trace.
