We hold them tight
Never exposed
To see the morning light.

We keep secrets
Silent, secretive
They speak not a word
Sometimes to the grave
They’re carried, never heard.

We keep secrets
Untold secrets
We grasp them tight
Feeling the burden
The weight not light.
