Both sad and joyous

Memories

They come to me
When I don’t notice

Memories

My mind will be elsewhere
And suddenly they’re there

Memories

Real or imagined
Staring at me
Laughing hysterically

Memories

Nothing seems to matter
Cause I remember
Memories.
