Listening To The World Pass By

I sit listening
To the world pass by
My heart is open
I do not cry.

Many words are spoken
Without a sound
Never enough love
Is passed around.

I will beckon, I will try
To get the attention
Of the one in charge
Of this world
I’m listening, pass by.
