Holding On

Holding on
Standing firm
Not backing up just to conform
Going nowhere but here.

Holding on despite
The awful atmosphere
You will tell, I’ll be told
All the reasons
This should not unfold.

Then on we’ll go
Never looking back
For we’re holding on
We’re on track.
