Snow Comes Flying Down
December 10, 2019Snow comes flying down
laying waste to brown ground
swirls, banks of white
blowing on into night.
Hiding the sun, the moon
making all the landscape
a stark sight
enveloping the earth
like a giant cocoon .
It may be tomorrow
all will melt
til then enjoy the scene
and later
remember how it felt.

It is so wonderful reminding me of my days in Buffalo. Here in Calif. we are planning our post Christmas vacation at the beach. I different way of life.

Ah, but you remember! Enjoy your post Christmas vacation. And while your lying on the warm, southern, beach sand, smile, think of snow blowing here in northern lands 😀
