I Am Feeling Down

I am feeling down and all alone
Feel my heart beat a lonesome tone
Crying, standing in the wake
Of not where I want to be.

Hoping the mists of sadness
Will disappear, leaving behind
A world bright and clear
Full of anticipation, happiness
Not this awful, nagging fear and sadness.
