I Look Out

I look out on the earth
and see
things going on their way.

Birds sing, flowers bloom
bees fly
pollinating all they can
they try.

How can I not see beauty
beauty
there in front of me?

Thank the Lord
for you see, he has done this
all this magnificence
all this beauty.
