When I look out to sea 
I see you looking
looking back over
just at me 

The waves roll in
and
back out again 
bringing with them 
a message from overseas 
a message
you sent just for me 

In my thoughts I touch your lips 
say words of love 
then send them
on the wind 
over water, overseas 
to you with love 
just from me.
