The Breath Breathe

Hearing the breath breathe
Is heartening to us
Cause tomorrow may bring
Happiness or sadness
Or something
We haven’t seen.

But today we’ll hear
The breath breathe
And know
That just for today
We’re living, breathing
We’re okay.
