When I hear your call
My heart skips a beat
My mind thinks of all the things
I love about you
Oh, so sweet. 

When you had to go away
My days were grim
My heart was sad
How
My eyes did cry. 

Now again 
I can hear your voice
Taste your lips and behold you
With my eyes. 

My world is right
I’m loved
I’ll go thru the day
Without a sad or lonely cry.

      Thank you! That little ‘Polar Bear’ is an English Bull Terrier named Parker. I had the privilege of painting his portrait – he was such a lovely little guy!
