Hold me close
Don’t let me be
Sacrificed
To the dragons of eternity.

Let me see
Beauty, harmony
In the world all around
Surrounding me.

Cherish, nurture those that grow
In the shadow of greatness
Growing as they must
All alone.

But
Lovingly supported
By me, by us that hold them
Forever close.
