Let Me

October 5, 2023

Let me not
Be the one who does
Wrong

Let me see the way through
Filled with joy, ecstasy
No harm

Let me not
Cry, weep nor wail

Let me be
Happy far into day’s final ending
Night’s gentle passing

Let me tell
Only sweet tales.
