Waiting To Hear

Waiting to hear
the voice say words
I need to hear
Each
Each and every day.

Emotion comes in
Filling my heart with tenderness
Leaving no room
For hatred or anger
To stay.

May I hear and say
Those words
Then give them all away
To ones that need
Need them most
Today
