Hold me close
let me cry
tell me all the things
I need to know
before I leave this earth
before
I die.

Your arms are warm and tender
your voice sings
a sweet refrain
I know I’m held with love
I know
you’re with me
on this path
I travel.

Our hands, our hearts
intertwined
our love forever
as we take
this last walk
down the old, familiar
country lane.
