Let Me Understand

Let me understand
the way the world turns
never
on demand

My heart may say
words that mean something
just today
tomorrow things will change
tomorrow
is
another day

Then
on that tomorrow
will I understand
how the world came to be
how it turns
and
where upon it
I do stand?
