I know it
shouldn’t hurt like this
I know it shouldn’t
be 

Still
deep in my soul 
my anger festers, rages
because of all
I see 

Why does one hurt
another? 

Why kill or maim
a living creature
or
another
human being? 

Makes no sense
no sense
to me.
