The Hope

April 9, 2026

The hope I had
the hope
I say
will take me thru
this day, all days.

I don’t
have to say
a word out loud
or
think the feeling
but
send it
up to the clouds
where rain will bring it
down
upon all creatures
big and small
giving hope
to today
and
forever to us all.
