Dreams of splendour
Happiness and fame
All to be seen
Going down the drain.
Sadness, despair
Anguish and heartache
Tear at the soul
Shattered
Fall to the floor
Never, no more.
Up from the tatters
Mended but bruised
Focused on laughter
Making that dream
Come true.
Watch as dreams
Of splendour and happiness
Unfold to be true
This too can be you.

Harvest of spring’s risings.

Feel the work of the Lord
Residing in everything.

The hurt felt when I was left
In a terrible bind.

See the magic a heart can do
To mend with love
Given unconditionally.

Be in the realm
Of a beautiful soul
Such as thee.
