His mother was a beauty
Stunning so they say
He followed in her footsteps
Most of the way.
Thou modest and frugal
He did manage to pay
Homage to a father
He knew not one day.
A story so tragic
Steeped in deceit
Holds us captive and
Creeps into our psyche
So painful and bleak.
Master of nothing
No goals to achieve
He languished in heaven
Awaiting he hoped
A reprieve.
Whatever happened
To that beauty so fair?
Did she too die in heaven
Or did she just
Send him there?

Nothing comes, nothing said
What to do if nothing read?
Pause a bit, regroup and think
What’s important, what will happen?
What would bring you to the brink
Of salvation in your quest of harmony
When to past lives you do regress?
What’s to be?
Will we ever, ever really be free?
Not much said, a little read
So on we go, on we tread.

This is it and what we get
Please don’t have any regrets
Because the world is small
And full of things
We should not forget.
Move on, pass through
Trace your steps
Of what you want to do
Pleased with yourself
Master of those deeds you’ve done
Run forward
Forward into the bright distance sun.
You are one. One and only one
Don’t forget this is it
And truly all you’re going to get
Make it good, make it just the best
Full, with no regrets.

While here I saw the mockingbird call
Silently speak the words I seek
To answer life’s irresistible draw.
While here I saw the mockingbird sing
Of many things I’ve never ever seen
In this life’s dream.
Maybe tomorrow
The robin will sing
And I will see what I saw.

I didn’t draw, I wouldn’t paint
Little love, lots of hate
Time stood still
And seemed to crawl
No one knew
What could or would be all.
Focused on the wrong thing then
Didn’t know what was up
Or around the bend.
Hardship was a constant friend
Little laughter to ease my way
Just disaster each turn I made.
Then they came and held me up
Turned me round to see the light
Not just of love
But a grandeur life
Stroked my soul, made things right
This they did for me one night.
They stood behind, smiled and laughed
No judgement made in this my craft
What took so long?
You might ask
But only those who know
Can answer that.

Cheerful, smile
See life full.
Laughter, kindness
Make it well rounded
Not only full.
Step forward
Embrace the heart felt
Honour you can bestow.
Take it in
And let it go.
Out to the world
Beautiful, marvellous
Bringing us together
Completed, full.

The parcel is wrapped and ready to go
To someone deserving this I know
But please let them see
Love wrapped happily and ready to go
To someone who’ll cherish it
And then let it go.
Don’t worry if it’s proper
Don’t worry if it’s right
Just send it off wrapped
Full of love
Tied lovingly tight.
Don’t wait for an answer
Nor expect one soon
Your love is the answer
Yours or someone who opens the parcel
All wrapped and ready to go
On to the world there to bestow
True love forever
Wherever it goes.
So just wrap a parcel
Fill it with love
Give it to someone
In need of a hug.

Now we figure what must be done
The best for us and everyone
Not to hurt or harm the thought
But get it done to the best of the lot.
You can do it without a doubt
Focus on a solution
Please don’t pout
You are worth it
Just speak out.
Trash don’t bash that runabout
Course straight through
You must have no doubt
This is the best
The best about!
