Catch me if you can
I’m falling deep down
That
Hurtful canyon
Hold my hand
Grasp it tight
Don’t like let go
Till all that’s out of sight
Then
Together we will go
You holding me
Me, so grateful.

Snow comes
falling down
covering
covering all that’s wrong
In the spring
We’ll see the flaws
Resurrecting goodness
Starting deep
Inside
Underneath it all
Rising to
Summer’s radiating warmth
And
Onto falling fall
Where fruition
Will be the harvest seen
As things die
In the late
Passing fall
Then once again
We’ll be beneath
Winter’s cold, cold snow
Covering
Covering all.

Snow’s falling
oh how it’s coming down!
Roads closed
drivers turning round
or
Stuck in a white world
frantic
Hoping soon
the snow will stop
Stop
it’s falling down.

Falling down
Needing forgiveness
Falling down
Because of you
I need no other
I only need
The likes of you.
You will show me
The way
To redemption
The path to forgiveness
As
I see how forgiveness
Has
Forgiven you.

Falling down
Getting up
Feeling rain
pouring in
Sky
thunderous blue
Earth
drenched.
Holding on
getting thru
storm ends
Sun shines
and
once again
I’ll be with you.

Falling softly
Laying quiet upon the ground
No sound tells the story
No wind whispers words
That made snow
Come falling down.

Leaves floating down
Falling, resting
Finally
On the ground.
No crash is heard
No weeping cry
Only silent sounds echoing
Throughout the sky.
My soul too
Does fall down
Reaching up, clasping pieces
To soften, the floating down.
~ Patrice

Rain, pouring rain, cold, colder still
Chills falling, falling down again
Winter’s come, pass the fall
Summer’s gone, we’ve missed it all.
One thing we can do
Is pray for spring, feel the dew
Then summer’s warmth will arrive
Holding us, in her arms once again.
~ Patrice
