Snow comes
falling down
covering
covering all that’s wrong
In the spring
We’ll see the flaws
Resurrecting goodness
Starting deep
Inside
Underneath it all
Rising to
Summer’s radiating warmth
And
Onto falling fall
Where fruition
Will be the harvest seen
As things die
In the late
Passing fall
Then once again
We’ll be beneath
Winter’s cold, cold snow
Covering
Covering all.

Powerful times need to come
covering all in hope
and
tremendous love
Then we’ll see
hear and feel
joy
throughout
the mountains, valleys
and
the hills
No more to mourn
for
we will be
in the hearts of another
protected,
able to grow unconcerned
with small trivial fare.

And the sky cry.
A storm
Blows across
A cold, barren land.
No soul ventures out
No one wants to know
How cold winter is.
Blowing
Covering all
The freezing land.
