Til my heart burns out
My lips not speak

Will I let you go

To be in eternity.

I’ll Take A Stand

And hold still
No breath will breathe
No heart beat
Only sounds are my feet
Standing still, holding fast
Protecting all
That must now last.

Then the gull cries
Mustering forces
That heed that shrieking call
Not forlorn, not alone

Upright, strong and tall
