The world is full of hate
Will it ever
Ever
Dissipate?
It festers, boils, multiplies
Spreading over
All sweet innocence
Kindness
Is
Denied.
My heart cries
Weeps for the world
So full of anger
Steeped
In
Hate.
Please take it
Make it be
Not
Of this world
Not for us, for you, nor me.

No one told me
what I’d see
No one held me
giving security
No one showed me
told me
what life could really be
Only life itself
gave
that opportunity.

Courtesy comes
And
Does live
In the heart of heaven
I know it is.
I can see it happening
I can feel the bliss
Here beside me
In this, this life
I live.

Somewhere out there
You be
Living, loving
Being the best
You can be.
I must find you
I must be
Like you
Loving, caring
Full of beauty, curiosity.

Quietly
I hold you dearly
Singing songs of love
So clearly
Cherished by those that hear
The melody
Quietly
I say words that hold you close
Words of wisdom for love
For
I love you
Oh so much, the most.
Quietly
I walk away
Never looking back
Never saying
Or
Waving goodbye.
Quietly
I disappear from your life
For
You have learned
All that’s needed.
Quietly.

Standing on the precipice
Going forward
Then
Looking back to see
All those who stand
Stand with me.

Heaven lives
Inside of me
Part of you
All of what we see.
Heaven is
Whatever you need it
To be
There around embracing you
Embracing me.
Heaven gives
To those that need
It’s strength, It’s love
Everything.
Let Heaven go
Let it be
Throughout our world
Loving you, loving me.
~ Patrice

No one can, can be
no one can see
things the same
same
as you or me.
Travel through life
live as well as you can
smile
be the best possible
as only you
you can.
~ Patrice

Seek to find
The answer
Pleased
To know today
I have
The directions
To navigate all obstacles
To journey
Find my way.
~ Patrice
@Patrice Clarkson – 2023
No more
Today.
Tomorrow
Will be
What it turns out
To be.
But
Today, only today
I’ll let it be.
I’ll sit back
And
Enjoy my solitude
My serenity.
