Knowing always, a gentle tug
Joyous reunion making me dizzy
Course to be taken, never so easy
But back from the brink
Of coursing this misery
Making it known where there was mystery
Never forgetting that ancient history

Three years ago tomorrow,
Monty died today.
I Feel the sadness and the pain
Just like it was yesterday.
He stayed with us a little longer
Not for himself, but to help make us stronger,
To be able to accept that final day.
Three years ago tomorrow,
When Monty died today.
To cherish and remember
All that was good and dear.
About Monty,
who three years ago tomorrow
Died today.
The last day of February,
The 29th to be exact
Which tomorrow isn’t there
So, three years ago tomorrow,
Monty died today.
