Fila Died Today

Her brave little heart
To beat no more.
Nothing right,
Nothing fair.
So many gone,
So many lost.
So many loved,
Never forgotten.
Why? Why you ask
Do we bring them into our lives
Knowing in the end
We will lose
And feel this pain?
Because to have known them
Even a little while,
To feel their love,
To share their sweetness,
To be part of their lives
Is oh so worth this awful time.
Sleep, rest,
Play and run.
No pain or worries.
You were loved
And loved
We’ll meet again.
