I have been
in
a terrible place
that’s where
I’ve been
I suffered
I cried
but
nothing changed
it’s where I lived
I’ve been
Then
my world changed
a light that
had been so low
so dim
shone brightly
It lit up
all my sorrows
made them disappear
grow small
and
not as grim
I’m grateful
for that
that guided me
that
saved me
For now
I walk in happiness
no matter
what happened in another time
way back
then.
