I know
I’ve been lost
in the wilderness
of
low self esteem
Climbing out
has been hard
rocks, crevasses
unholy shards
pierce my skin, my life
my thoughts
Still I climb
I push, pull and shove
to
a glorious world
full of
grace, courage
and
self-love.

There goes the answer
Down the drain with the master
Strength to pull them out
Strength to know what it’s all about.
Not now, not now
Don’t falter
Don’t stumble
Keep your wits about.
The answer goes and speaks
Giving strength
To those who climb up
And get out.
That’s what the answer is all about.
