My Heart Wonders

August 22, 2014

Wild Rose ~ Photo by Patrice

My heart wonders where you’ve been
Loved you, lost you, can’t begin.

Anger, sadness creeping in
Gentle kindness hidden somewhere then.

Feel the touch of hearts afire
Smouldering eyes, full of desire.

No one knows where it goes
Bumpy, hilly, soft or kind, rocky crevice ours to find.

Now must go where hearts do flow
No troubles, no big or little cares I’ll know.

For you see, you’ll be in my dreams tonight
Full of love, wonder, so much delight.

There with trembling lips we’ll gently kiss
Sharing loving, sweet night bliss.

Don’t Be Bitter Or Angry

June 23, 2014

Don’t be bitter or angry
Just be happy and gay.

Don’t let them get you down
With their toxic chatter
Even in the darkest night
There always will be a guiding light.

Dance a light step down the pathway
Smile, laugh hysterically with delight
Being happy and gay
If only tonight.

The Light Comes Thru

June 27, 2013

See The Way ~ photo by Patrice

The light comes thru
Just a crack
Lighting all that has been
Black
Giving hope, strength
On it’s lighting way.

The more you see
The more it spreads
Bringing salvation to those
That had no destiny
Only dread.

Just one spark of light
Can spread and fill
The dark of night full of
Happiness
And most of all
Delight.

Pale Bodies Writhing

February 21, 2013

Pale bodies writhing
Writhing
To the rhythm of the night
Masking
Beauty in a mist of delight.

Born regal
Born of good stock
Not your average dogma
Flowing
Glowing in the dark.

Feel the rhythm
Feel
The breathless edge of cold
Cold and stark.

Masters
Of the night
Writhing
Writhing in the dark.

Don’t See The World In Black and White

June 22, 2012

Don’t see the world in black and white.
Make it the colour of delight.
Make it pink.
