Rain leaks
into small spaces
it’s refreshing water
drips
drops
Onto parched lips
it’s taste
not
forgot
Growing strong
pouring down
windswept landscapes
feel
as if they’ve been
drowned
Then with a quiet stop
all you hear
is
drip
drop.

Drip, drop of rain
Falling down
Rushing thru the drain
Life is sometimes like
Falling rain
A mediocre time turned
To all desired, wanted
Coming down like rain.
Once again
Listen
To the drip, drop
Of quiet summer rain.
Feel it’s vibrance change
The ordinary
To a spectacular refrain
This I know
As I listen to that rain
You’ll never ever
Ever be the same.
