Heaven forbid
that
I see
another day of sadness
despair
no
gladness.
I’ll work my way
to
the best
I can
see.
Find
all the dignity
in
everything
so divine.
Forbidding
heaven
to
let it
disappear.
Let it stay
always
in
my mind, my soul
and
all mankind.

Holy has it
Blessed to be
In the company of the exalted
Those that run the universe
The rain, the wind
And me.
No one says
They are lonely
Nor do they see reason
To be unhappy
Or heaven forbid
Angry.
You will be one
Of these persons
You will be filled with ecstasy
For the exalted
Will make sure
It comes to be.

Not in a day
But a lifetime away
Away from all I see.
Help me understand
The stand that must be me.
Don’t measure or pace
Race to the end and feel
Feel the trend which becomes
All I cherish and desire
In a life filled with this desire.
