Sometimes just grim
But all those words need
Need to be written.

or can see
we’re all unique
never not the same

you and me.

Don’t tell me
my beating heart
doesn’t count.
Don’t tell me
my thoughts are just lies.
Don’t tell me
the tears I weep will never
bring back ones lost.
Don’t tell me this
I ask of you
I plead, I cry.

Maybe tomorrow
Maybe
Another day
Maybe it’ll feel like forever
In the way you feel
Today.
But
Your end will come
In a moment
Or
It may have come
Yesterday.
Your purpose, your mission
Is
To live each moment
Each day
With joy and happiness.
So
When you close your eyes
For forever
You’ll smile
And
You’ll say
“That was fun
That was, a good day!”
