No one knows nor do they tell
The secrets kept
Deep within the world’s recesses
Down it’s hidden well.
To be told
Maybe
Sometime, somewhere in the future.
But
Who knows who
Will be left
That one who will tell.

I met my love
A long time ago
And
Far, far away
On this day
This
Valentine’s Day.
We’ve travelled
Thru life
Together
Living, loving, laughing
Maybe
A little fighting
Whatever
Life brought us
On that particular day.
Looking back
I smile and say
Life has been good
Since
Way back
When I met my love
On
Valentine’s Day.

No way can I know
The why.
The reason is hidden deep
In the blue
Mysterious sky.
There above, there to see
But
Not understand.
What is beyond
The moon, the stars
And
Distant galaxies.

Nor did you want me
Want me back.
I slide into the shadows
Paused in a quiet spot
Before heading away from you
And all, all your self-centred thoughts.
I won’t be back and I think
It’s a well known fact
That you’ll never miss me
You’ll never ever, ask me back.

They do flow
From the beginning
Forward
Forward do they go.
Making a difference
Changing attitudes
And
Seeing opinions change
From what we knew
To what we didn’t know.
Let me be part of the change
Let me know

Better than I was
When the changes help me
Change and grow.

Magnificence and magic
Within
All it’s space
There my soul does reside
Beside yours
Together
We do abide
Safe within
Heaven’s tender embrace
Feeling nothing but love

Trodden by many

Haven’t known nor seen
Making it no better
Only
The way for you

Seeds are there, then gone
They’re out.
I’m sitting here
Watching, watching
All the goings-on
Go about.
They don’t know
I’m here
They don’t care
About my life, my goings-on.
Cause they have
Their own life to live
Like sing, find seeds
Fly about.

Til something moves
Takes control.
Nothing really happens
In the morning bright
Til eyes open
Letting in streaming sunlight.
Nothing really happens
Til words are spoken
From a mouth open
Speaking things we need to know.
Nothing really happens
Til feet move
Heeding the mind’s signals
And control.
Nothing really happens
Til we let Mother Nature
Let nature have the reins
And we let go.
