I see you in the morning light
in the depth of deep darkness
somewhere
in the middle of a quiet night.
You give me pleasure
you give me strength
something to hold on to
when I feel lonely
weak
and out of strength.
No one else
could I conceive will keep me
safe
and be the one
who carries me far from here
far into eternity.

Whether the world will

Throw me to the wolves
Surrounding me
Could it be
The wolves will be
My saviour
Surrounding, protecting me

throughout

Let no one say the words
that cut the heart
no matter
all its great might.

the path that’s right
then and only then my world will turn
and be alright.
