I Am Only All Alone

I am only all alone
when I feel my heartbeat fall
like a stone onto pavement
cold and bleak.

No words are spoken
nothing to repeat
my sobs, my cries unheard
for they fall down
cracks residing deep beneath.

Known to no one
no one hears their woeful cries
no one reaches to save
I am only all alone.
