Nothing to say, not today
No one comes, no one says
Anything relevant or astute
But then
I look outside and see
The world in all it’s beauty
Snow drifting by
Trees standing proud
Birds flying round
That’s when I realize
There’s nothing more to say
It’s already said
I just need to sit back
Enjoy this spectacular scene
This journey, this ride
I’m lost for words
My heart does sigh
It sees all, it seems.

Would I admit
I didn’t
Know my way
It may be true
But
In my mind
I know
know my way
And
Plan on getting there
Before
Yesterday.

Morning doves and evening grosbeaks
Ever wonder why the names they got
What they seek?
And how come blue jays cry?
While chickadees speak
Crows caw?
Truth is, that too
We don’t know why.

The secrets kept
Deep within the world’s recesses
Down it’s hidden well.
To be told
Maybe
Sometime, somewhere in the future.
But
Who knows who
Will be left
That one who will tell.

No way,
No way can I know
The why.
The reason is hidden deep
In the blue
Mysterious sky.
There above, there to see
But
Not understand.
What is beyond
The moon, the stars
And
Distant galaxies.

Changes come
They do flow
From the beginning
Forward
Forward do they go.
Making a difference
Changing attitudes
And
Seeing opinions change
From what we knew
To what we didn’t know.
Let me be part of the change
Let me know
I’ll be different then I was
Better than I was
When the changes help me
Change and grow.

Heaven’s heart is full of grace
Magnificence and magic
Within
All it’s space
There my soul does reside
Beside yours
Together
We do abide
Safe within
Heaven’s tender embrace
Feeling nothing but love
And
Sweet, gentle grace.

To get it done

It’s always been
Choice is yours
The path has been
Trodden by many
That you
Personally
Haven’t known nor seen
Making it no better
Only
The way for you

Til something moves
Takes control.
Nothing really happens
In the morning bright
Til eyes open
Letting in streaming sunlight.
Nothing really happens
Til words are spoken
From a mouth open
Speaking things we need to know.
Nothing really happens
Til feet move
Heeding the mind’s signals
And control.
Nothing really happens
Til we let Mother Nature
Let nature have the reins
And we let go.
