Hold me
still
hold me close.

Let me
not
see
the sadness
I fear
the most.

Let me
hear
your words
like angels sing.

Let me
know
no harm can come
when
I hear
what your heart
does bring.

Let me
feel
your warmth
embracing me
holding
me
keeping me
from
all danger
real
and
what I do perceive.

Hold me
hold me close
I do ask
of
thee.

we are together
thru
the long
dark night

In the morning
when the sun shines bright
we’ll walk together
no fear
no fright.
