for ones taken

angels bring to heaven
these innocent people
who’ve lost
their precious lives.

Flying by
Bright light high

Know the reason why
Only I
Sit in a place filled
With loving gratitude
And grace
Only I
Feel the presence
Of a spirit so strong
Knowing and forgiving
Only I
Is who I see
When I look in the mirror
And see
Only me.
