Heard you speaking
heard you say
words
I don’t understand
Not this morning
this evening
nor
today
Your lips move
sounds say
things
I can’t comprehend
No
Not this morning
this evening
nor
today.

No More Will I Be
January 6, 2025
No more
Will I be
that one who stands back
quietly
No, not me
I will show who I am
who I want to
who
I’m going to be
Cause you see
if I don’t
no one will know me
I won’t be.

Me
December 19, 2024
No one can
know
the secrets hidden
deep
inside
of
me.
No one can see
the danger
lurking
threatening you
me.
No one will be helping
standing
there beside
of
me.
This I know
this I see
and
will accept
in spite of all
you may be
telling
me.

Everything
November 11, 2024
Where I’ve been
what I’ve seen
is
nothing
compared to you.
It does not
raise the temperature
it doesn’t make
the news.
But it’s
where I’ve been
it’s
what I’ve seen
it’s everything.
Everything
that makes me
me
not you.

Safe, Secure And Very, Very Happy
November 5, 2024
Placed in a place
to be
safe, secure
and
very, very happy.
No one
can know
where that place
be.
Cause then
then
I’d need
all kinds of security.
To keep
my heart, my mind
safe, secure
and
very, very happy.

Hold Me
September 25, 2024
Hold me, hold me close
let me be intertwined
with your strength, your beauty
your majesty
No more
no more to need anyone
but you
Let me
feel
your generosity
Let me too
give
all I can to those
needing
Needing me
needing all
that can be given
can be.

You Tell Me Things
September 23, 2024
You come to me
You tell me things
I can’t comprehend
Nor
Understand.
It seems those things
Those that you
Tell me
Are beyond
My knowledge, my reasoning
Nothing
That I know of
Or
Understand.

In This Day
June 12, 2024
In this day
I wonder
Where, what will appear
Go away?
Nothing changes
Yet
Everything
Does.
